“create in absence of destination, finding a route becomes easy”

Experiencing someone’s passion told through their eyes is the only way to understand a person’s heart. Through digital compositions using multiple Adobe products, my project inspires curiosity about a specific group of students at UTD who are embracing the future of digital entertainment - Esports. While the purpose is to inform viewers of an unknown group of students on campus, it also sets out to call for personal reflection with the goal of eventual involvement in the organization.

Esports and video games, in general, have had a slot in my daily routine since I was an early teenager. I attended the University of Texas at Dallas for three semesters before realizing that there was a place for students like myself who shared the same interests. This project was created to ensure that other students do not miss out on the opportunity I had not been exposed to during my time at UTD.

Through a multistep process of recording, animating, editing, balancing, and reviewing, this project was completed independently with participation from UT Dallas Esports.  The process of creating this project is very organic, with the ideas you see implemented coming from spurts of inspiration created by my internal environment with little foresight to the final picture.
